Hi, It’s Maryann Curmi in the afternoon. Hope you are having a great start to Summer and the warm weather.
A British charity called Action For Happiness that seeks to create a happier society worldwide has issued a list of 10 key steps for achieving happiness in life. They are: Giving, Relating (or connecting with people and reconnecting with those you’ve lost contact with), Exercising, Appreciating (the world around you), Trying Out (new things), Direction (or having goals and making and keeping resolutions), Resilience (learn to bounce back from defeat), Emotion (focus on happy moments instead of sad), Acceptance (of who you are without dwelling on your flaws) and Meaning. That means finding meaning in life by joining a society or club to be part of something bigger than yourself.
