With reality TV having to come up with weirder and more outrageous shows to present something that hasn’t been done before, the newest idea is a naked dating show that VH1 has picked up. The Hollywood Reporter says that the 10-episode series will take place in an exotic location and feature a man and a woman in every episode who will each date two different, naked people, with the focus on getting to know their honest selves. At the end of the episode, they’ll take a look at what they learned from their suitors and decide whether or not to go forward with either of them. VH1 says the series will be edited to meet network standards — This is the latest in a spate of naked reality TV shows, including: Discovery’s survival series Naked Castaway and Naked and Afraid; Syfy’s Naked Vegas, about body painting; and TLC’s Buying Naked, in which nudist couples search for clothing-optional homes.
