The Brush & Shine tool for bald men were a bit offbeat and never made it far.


A lab assistant from the Stanford Research Institute, is taking what was called a “blink test” in a study of smog in Stanford, Calif. April 27, 1949.

The test gauges eye irritation.   The plastic helmet is filled with smog.

The smog project is being conducted by the Air and Water Pollution Laboratory and Fumes of the Western Oil and Gas Association.
