KZSQ has teamed up with the Humane Society of Tuolumne County to bring you Happy Tails. We are all animal lovers here at Star 92.7 FM and we want to see more loving pets find forever homes.
Each week we will feature a pet that needs a home and we hope you will find it in your heart to give them one. Mark Grauer will announce pets on Tuesday Morning and you can check here to see photos and info.
To Adopt your next family member call (209) 984-5489 or our open hours are Tuesdays-Saturdays from 9:30am-3:00 pm at 10040 Victoria Way, Jamestown, CA 95327.
- Coral: 3 year old, Female, Shorthair Orange Tabby Coral is exceptionally smart (sometimes too smart!), sweet, and affectionate. She enjoys lots of love and can be quite the talker. She lives with the other cats in the lobby during the day and does get along with them, but isn’t afraid to stand her ground if she feels the need. This girl will keep you entertained and there’s never a dull moment with her around. If you’re interested in meeting Coral, come by the shelter to find her roaming the lobby. It won’t be hard to find her as she’ll likely be the first to greet you!
- Dee Dee: 2 years old, Female, Terrier mix, 20 pounds Don’t let her photos fool you- Dee Dee looks like she should be a big dog, but she’s stuck in a tiny body. She is darling! Dee Dee loves to play and stay active, so if you’re looking for an adventure pal that’s on the small side, she could be your perfect fit! Dee Dee has done well with the other dogs she’s met and really enjoys her time with people. She’s ready to meet her new family and would love to see you this week!
- Sydney: 5 years old, Female, Siberian Husky, 60 pounds Meet Sydney! This fun-loving, playful, and happy girl is looking for a home that can let her be part of the family and join in on the weekend adventures. She enjoys the company of other dogs and we’re told she’s done great with children in her past home. Sydney would match well with someone that has room for her to run and/or gets outside regularly so she can stay the active pup she likes to be. Sydney seems to know some basic commands such as “sit”, but will need to brush up on remembering not to pull on leash or jump up when she wants to say hello. Sydney is a gem of a dog who would love to explore the Sierra foothills and beyond with you! Come by to meet this sweet girl.
- Paco: 7 years old, Male, Terrier mix, 15 pounds Paco is a favorite at the shelter! He sticks close to your side and is one of our easiest dogs to walk for volunteers. He loves to have one-on-one time with people and can do a few tricks for treats, too! Paco has ridden well in the car and would love to accompany you on your next visit to the coffee drive-thru for a pup cup. Paco has met a few dogs at the shelter and so far hasn’t met one he’d like to be friends with, so he likely wants to be the solo dog in the home. We think he’d make an excellent buddy for someone looking for an attentive and affectionate friend that isn’t high maintenance. Come to the shelter today and ask to meet Paco!
