KZSQ has teamed up with the Humane Society of Tuolumne County to bring you Happy Tails. We are all animal lovers here at Star 92.7 FM and we want to see more loving pets find forever homes.
Each week we will feature a pet that needs a home and we hope you will find it in your heart to give them one. Mark Grauer will announce pets on Tuesday Morning and you can check here to see photos and info.
To Adopt your next family member call (209) 984-5489 or our open hours are Tuesdays-Saturdays from 9:30am-3:00 pm at 10040 Victoria Way, Jamestown, CA 95327.
- Sequoia: 6 months old, Female, Pit Bull mix, 35 pounds This sweet and spirited puppy is looking for a home full of love, patience, and playtime! Like all puppies, she’s still learning the ropes- so she’ll need someone who can offer guidance, consistent boundaries, and positive training so she can be her best self as an adult. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion eager to please and grow with you. Sequoia thrives with play, cuddles, and mental stimulation, and she’s always up for a new adventure (or a nap in your lap afterward). If you’re ready to invest time and care into raising a happy, well-rounded pup, this adorable furball could be the perfect match.
- Scout: 1 year old, Female, Domestic Shorthair Tabby Scout is very sweet and affectionate, and we can picture her snuggling on the couch with her new people. She hasn’t been overly adventurous since she’s been with us, but she does enjoy her cat condo where she can watch the shelter happenings and say hello to visitors. Scout would be a great choice for someone looking for a lower-maintenance friend that still enjoys pets and affection.
- Granola: 1 year old, Female, Domestic Shorthair, 8 pounds Granola is one of the many mother cats who had kittens this year, and now that they’re adopted, it’s her turn! Granola is young, curious, and loves playing with toys. You’ll find her in the shelter lobby greeting visitors and she hopes one of those visitors takes her home soon! This social butterfly is ready to meet you- so come by the shelter and say hello to Granola!
- Dee Dee: 2 years old, Female, Terrier mix, 20 pounds Don’t let her photos fool you- Dee Dee looks like she should be a big dog, but she’s stuck in a tiny body. She is darling! Dee Dee loves to play and stay active, so if you’re looking for an adventure pal that’s on the small side, she could be your perfect fit! Dee Dee has done well with the other dogs she’s met and really enjoys her time with people. She’s ready to meet her new family and would love to see you this week!
- Sydney: 5 years old, Female, Siberian Husky, 60 pounds Meet Sydney! This fun-loving, playful, and happy girl is looking for a home that can let her be part of the family and join in on the weekend adventures. She enjoys the company of other dogs and we’re told she’s done great with children in her past home. Sydney would match well with someone that has room for her to run and/or gets outside regularly so she can stay the active pup she likes to be. Sydney seems to know some basic commands such as “sit”, but will need to brush up on remembering not to pull on leash or jump up when she wants to say hello. Sydney is a gem of a dog who would love to explore the Sierra foothills and beyond with you! Come by to meet this sweet girl.
