Star Working Woman of The Week: Lydia Osias

Gary writes:

Lydia has always been a hard worker.  She worked as the office manager and bookkeeper for my Optometry practice while simultaneously doing all the “Mom” things for our two growing children.

Now that we have retired and relocated to Sonora, Lydia decided to seriously pursue long-time hobbies, gardening and pottery.  With many hours of study, Lydia achieved her Master Gardener’s certificate and contributes many volunteer hours serving the Tuolumne County Master Gardener’s association.  In addition, Lydia has opened a new business, Sonora Arts, where she teaches hand building with clay; classes that are open to children and adults.  Under her supervision, Sonora Arts also hosts classes by other artist instructors in watercolor painting, mixed media, and decorative food preparation.  And always wanting to give back to the community, Lydia teaches hand building with clay at Sonora’s Senior Center one day per month.  On top of all that, she is a mighty fine wife and takes great care of her husband. Lydia, you are one impressive lady and greatly appreciated and loved.  Your loving husband, Gary
