Mick Jagger says he “can’t wait” to tour again with The Rolling Stones, though not this year.
Speaking on BBC Radio 2’s Tracks of My Years with Ronnie Wood, Jagger expressed enthusiasm for returning to the road “hopefully as soon as possible.” The band cancelled their planned 2026 U.K. and European stadium tour in late 2025, with reports suggesting Keith Richards couldn’t commit to the dates.
Richards previously hinted at a possible 2027 return. Jagger’s comments come ahead of the band’s 25th studio album Foreign Tongues, releasing July 10th. The record was completed in under a month at Metropolis Studios with producer Andrew Watt and features Paul McCartney, The Cure’s Robert Smith, Steve Winwood, and the late Charlie Watts. Their previous album Hackney Diamonds reached No. 3 on Billboard 200 in 2024.
