Dolly Parton canceled her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace, because of ongoing health challenges that require continued treatment.
She was originally scheduled to perform six shows in December; they were then rescheduled to September 2026.
Parton says she’s been “responding really well to meds and treatments” and “improving every day,” but the treatments make her “a little swimmy headed.” She humorously chuckled, “And of course, I can’t be dizzy carrying around banjos, guitars, and such on five-inch heels — and you know that I’m going to be wearing them.”
The 78-year-old entertainer added it will be some time before she is “stage-performance ready.”
